I need to stop buying more books! Do you know how many are on my TBR list!? Way too many! Nevertheless, I bought two more.
Middlemarch by George Eliot: I saw this book a while back. The only reason why I didn’t buy it then was because I was looking for the perfect cover. (This is one of the best things about classics, by the way. There are so many different editions and covers to choose from!) Now look at this one!! Isn’t it purty? My inner bibliophile is smiling so hard.
Piercing The Darkness by Frank Peretti: Hands down, Frank Peretti is one of my favorite authors! But do you know what’s tragic? After this and one other, I will have completed all his novels. Somebody alert Peretti! This should not be happening!
What books are on your TBR list?
That Middlemarch cover *is* the best!

I have too many books on my reading list this summer. *sigh* Better too many than too few, though. 🙂

Well, I’m reading Macbeth, Son (the last book in the Giver Series), and Great Expectations right now, and I just finished Animal Farm. I want to read more Sherlock Holmes, more of the Anne of Green Gables books…and there are a bunch more that I can’t think of right now. Any recommendations?
No problem! Your blog is great. 🙂 Thanks for following mine!

Sounds like great books! From what you mentioned, it sounds like you’re a lover of the classics! Which Sherlock Holmes books have you read? If you enjoy Dickens, Little Dorrit is a fantastic (but lesser known) work! Novels by Elizabeth Gaskell are amazing too!
Thank you! That’s so encouraging!

Yeah, I do like classics a lot, but I also really like fantasy. I’ve read a few Sherlock Holmes short stories, A Study in Scarlet, and the Hound of the Baskervilles. The Hound of the Baskervilles was my favorite. Have you read Sherlock Holmes?
Ooo, I will have to read Elizabeth Gaskell. I’ve heard her books are really good! 🙂

You mentioned my two favorite Sherlock mysteries! Fantasy is awesome! Gaskell’s North and South is the bomb! It’s very similar to Pride and Prejudice if you’re into that novel.

Awesome! I loved both of those Sherlock Holmes novels. 🙂 Ooo, I’ll have to read North and South, then, because I absolutely love Pride and Prejudice!
