A Path Through The Woods

When born into the family of an evangelist, you learn there are helter-skelter type of seasons where events draw near and everything happens at once. (Thanks by the way for your patience during sporadic posting) So, by now I have thousands of books to review, (slight exaggeration but you get the point!) several brilliant bookclub points to discuss, (You’re allowed to roll your eyes at my sarcasm) and accounts of where all I’ve been. It’s midday. Time for a pick-me-up! What’s a better quote to do that than Karon’s reminder to take one day at a time. Doesn’t that sound so much more relaxing compared to freaking about tomorrow…and then worrying about tomorrow’s effects on next week which end results affect next month….etcetera etcetera. All that worrying is so stressful for one day! Stick with today and today alone. But don’t forget to also cling to the Maker of your day. He’s got every stressful detail under control.
